1. Information we collect
Depending on the feature you use, Gutusloaded may process information you provide directly and limited technical or campaign data generated through the service.
- Artist Portal: account email, display name, authentication information handled through our authentication provider, artist-access role and profile edits.
- Newsletter: email address and subscription status.
- Pre-save campaigns: email address if supplied, marketing-consent choice, Spotify connection status, Spotify user identifier, campaign source and campaign attribution such as UTM parameters.
- Smart Links and campaign analytics: page views, destination clicks, destination/platform label, campaign source, referrer and similar aggregate campaign signals.
- Distribution early access and submissions: the details you enter in the relevant form, such as artist or team information, contact details and release context.
- Browser storage: small local-storage values may be used for interface preferences, such as remembering that a newsletter prompt was already shown.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure Gutusloaded features, operate artist accounts, publish approved artist and release information, process pre-save actions, deliver requested communications, measure campaign performance, prevent abuse, improve the product and respond to support requests.
We do not present private Artist Portal account information as public artist-profile data unless the artist or Gutusloaded staff intentionally publishes the relevant profile information.
3. Spotify pre-save authorization
When you choose a Spotify pre-save action, you are redirected to Spotify to authorize the permissions shown by Spotify. Gutusloaded may securely retain the authorization token required to complete the requested save when the release becomes available. Spotify account passwords are not collected by Gutusloaded.
You can revoke Gutusloaded's Spotify access through your Spotify account settings. A pre-save campaign may also stop working if Spotify authorization expires, is revoked or the requested release is unavailable.
4. Smart Link and campaign analytics
Gutusloaded records campaign activity so artists and authorized teams can understand how a release page or Smart Link performs. This can include page views, destination clicks, device category, referrer, campaign source and UTM attribution, session identifiers and limited technical metadata such as language, timezone or screen category. Where available through our infrastructure or service providers, aggregate country-level information may also be used.
These signals are intended for campaign measurement, attribution, security and product operation. We do not sell personal profiles to advertisers.
5. Gutus Ads campaign planning
When you use Gutus Ads, we may process the campaign destination URL, campaign name, goal, budget, currency, duration, selected or recommended markets, connected artist identifier where applicable, creative preference, saved recommendation and campaign status.
Gutus Ads Beta does not secretly read your precise device location for targeting. Starting-market recommendations may use artist-profile country/city information you or an authorized team supplied, campaign goals, genre-aware rules and other information you intentionally enter. Future provider-connected campaigns may receive aggregate or provider-reported geographic performance data under the provider's own advertising and privacy terms.
We do not sell personal profiles to advertisers, and Gutusloaded does not claim that a recommended market guarantees streams, reach, listeners or conversions.
Gutus Ads Pro AI: if you choose to generate a campaign pack or future creative asset, Gutusloaded may send the campaign information needed for that request — such as artist/release context, campaign goal, selected markets and your creative brief — to the configured AI service provider. AI job status, the submitted campaign context and generated output may be stored in Gutusloaded so you can retrieve the result, support can investigate failures and usage can be accounted for. Secret API credentials are kept server-side and are not sent to the browser.
6. Billing and referrals
If you purchase Artist Pro, we process subscription status, plan, billing interval, payment reference, provider customer/subscription identifiers and related payment-event records needed to provide paid access and support billing. Full card details are handled by the payment provider rather than stored by Gutusloaded.
If you use an artist referral link, we may process the referral code, landing page, campaign attribution, click session, account registration relationship, qualifying conversion status and reward record so the referral program can operate and fraud can be reviewed.
7. Service providers and third parties
Gutusloaded relies on third-party services to operate parts of the platform. These may include Cloudflare for website delivery, Supabase for database/authentication infrastructure, Mailchimp for newsletter subscriptions, Spotify for music authorization and streaming functionality, Paystack for supported billing, AI service providers when you intentionally use Gutus Ads Pro AI features, advertising providers such as Meta, TikTok or Google when Gutus Ads provider connections are enabled, and destination services such as Apple Music, YouTube, Audiomack, Boomplay or other platforms selected by artists.
When you leave Gutusloaded for another platform, that platform's own privacy terms apply to its processing.
8. Your choices and requests
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe option in those messages. You can revoke connected-app access through the relevant third-party service. You may also contact Gutusloaded to request access, correction or deletion of personal information we control, subject to applicable law and legitimate operational or record-keeping requirements.
9. Security and retention
We use access controls, row-level database policies and server-side handling for sensitive authorization data where supported by the feature. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the service, campaign reporting, security, support, legal obligations or legitimate business records. Retention periods can vary by data type and connected provider.
10. Children
Artist tools, account features and pre-save authorization are not designed for children who cannot legally consent to the relevant service terms in their jurisdiction. If you believe information has been submitted by a child without appropriate authorization, contact us.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Gutusloaded adds new features, providers or legal requirements. The date at the top of this page shows the latest published version.
